Cult of the Dragon God - Quest 1

My first attempt at a HeroQuest homebrew quest. The heroes set out on a simple rescue mission and end up racing against time to eliminate a much bigger threat.

This isn’t the typical 1-2 page quest you’d expect. Most HQ quests keep the background story small, just enough to flavor the hack-n-slash engine.

I wanted to take a different approach, more RPG-like, where the story and its ‘lore’ are the main actor, and the HQ engine is simply the means of moving that story forward.

So Zargon/Mentor should expect a lot of reading, since it’s on them to guide the heroes through the story as it unfolds.
